Differe between hydogenation and hydrogenolysis

 Hydrogenation

Hydrogenation is a process in which hydrogen is added to unsaturated compounds to make them saturated. 

Hydrogenolysis 

In hydogenolysis hydrogenation takes place by bond cleavage in the presence of catalyst.
